Desk Report:
Like the Singapore match, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will sell tickets for the Asian Cup qualifier against Hong Kong online. Tickets will be available on the Quicket.me website from September 28.
The BFF has faced various complications in selling tickets for the Singapore match. The service was entrusted to Tikify. Within minutes of the start of ticket sales, Tikify ran into trouble with the site maintenance. Fans can buy tickets again after a two-day break.
However, this time, if such a problem arises, the BFF will fine Quicket Tk 1 million. At a press conference at the BFF building today, BFF Competition Committee member Tajwar Awal said, “I hope all the tickets will be sold within a day. If there was no system problem last time, it would have been like this. If they fail for some reason this time, they will be fined Tk 1 million.”
The price of a general gallery ticket is Tk 400. A maximum of five tickets can be purchased with one ID. This time too, there will be a cultural program before the start of the match. Besides, arrangements will be made to show the game on big screens in 8 divisions.
Bangladesh’s match against Hong Kong at the National Stadium will start at 8 pm on October 9. BFF wants the army’s help in security not only for Hong Kong but also for the match against India in November. Tajwar said, “This time the security aspect will be strengthened further. The match against India is more important. That is why more emphasis will be placed on security. Tomorrow we will sit in discussion with the General Officer Commanding. In the Bangladesh-Pakistan cricket series, we want the same facilities to be given to BFF.”
Bangladesh is third in Group ‘C’ with 1 point after two matches in the Asian Cup qualifiers. They drew goalless against India in the first match in March but lost 2-1 to Singapore at home in June. They will face Javier Cabrera’s team again against Hong Kong on October 14. That match will be held in Hong Kong.
