Two more movies on Eid release list
Last year, a record number of 11 movies were released on Eid-ul-Fitr, but they did not meet with success. That is why the number of movies dropped by half on Eid-ul-Fitr that year. This time, the opposite is happening. There was a lot of interest from the audience in 4 of the 6 movies released on Eid-ul-Fitr. That is why this time, the number of movies is increasing on Eid-ul-Fitr compared to Eid-ul-Fitr. The release of ‘Tandav’, ‘Nilchakra’, ‘Tagore’, ‘Insaf’ has already been announced. Two more movies named ‘Utsav’ and ‘Nadan’ have joined this race.
The story of the festival is based on novelist Charles Dickens’s ‘A Christmas Carol’. Zahid Hasan plays the role of the famous character Scrooge. Directed by Tanim Noor, the film also stars Jaya Ahsan, Api Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi, Tariq Anam Khan, Azad Abul Kalam, Intekhab Dinar, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Soumya Jyoti, Sadia Ayman and many others.
Statutory warning – Not to be seen without family; Along with the official announcement of the movie ‘Utsav’ at an event last Tuesday evening, its cast was introduced along with the tagline. All the artists came to the venue wearing masks. At one point, when the director invited them to the stage, everyone took off their masks and appeared in front of the guests in their true colors. It was announced today that the movie will be released in the country and abroad in the spirit of the festival.
Producer Tanim Noor said, “There was a desire to make a film centered around Eid that the whole family could watch together. Utsav was made to pursue that desire and dream.”
Actor Zahid Hasan said, “After a long time, many artists worked together in the festival movie, which is a great joy. The audience will also get a lot of joy watching the movie.”
Afsana Mimi said, “This saying is not allowed to be watched without family. Because, for a long time, we were looking for a movie to watch with family.”
Actor Chanchal Chowdhury said, “I worked in this movie with great joy. This time, we want to spread this joy to everyone.”
Api Karim said, “I could not resist the temptation of working in the same movie with everyone. This generation has not seen us work together. So I thought, let this generation see through the festival movie, we are still here.”
Dope Productions produced the festival, with Charki as co-producer.
Meanwhile, the first look poster of the movie Nadan was announced for Eid release on Tuesday by releasing the final of the cricket tournament for showbiz stars. The story of Nadan is based on the story of police and mountain robbers. It stars Shyamal Mawla, Saima Smriti, Rakib Hossain Yvon, Irfan Mridha Shiblu, Saif Khan, Jewel Zahur, etc. It is directed by Farhad Hossain. This is the first film of this director.
Apart from this, there are rumors of several other films being released on Eid-ul-Adha. This list includes Sunny Sanwar’s ‘Esha Murder: Karmafal’, Zahid Jewel’s ‘Pink’ and Rakibul Alam Rakib’s ‘Gowar’.
