Trump: ‘Hell will descend on Hamas if they don’t agree to peace proposal by Sunday’
US President Donald Trump has given Hamas until Sunday to accept the Gaza peace proposal. He has also warned that the consequences of ignoring the proposal will be dire. Trump said, “The Palestinian group will have until 6 pm on Sunday (October 5) in Washington, DC, to respond to its 20-point Gaza plan.”
Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera reported this information in a report.
Referring to this as a last chance, Trump wrote in a post on his Truth social platform, “If this agreement is not reached, then hell will descend on Hamas like no one has ever seen before. Peace will come to the Middle East one way or another.”
Trump threatened Hamas several times in the post, saying, “The members of Hamas are trapped in the Gaza Strip and are being militarily trapped. They are just waiting for me to say the word ‘go’ so that their lives can be quickly extinguished.”
Warning Hamas, the US president said, “We know who you are and where you are. You will be found and killed. I urge all innocent Palestinians to immediately leave this area of possible future death and go to the safe areas of Gaza. All those who are waiting for help will be taken care of.’
Meanwhile, Hamas political bureau official Mohammed Nazzal told Al Jazeera yesterday that the Palestinian group would soon announce its position on the US proposal. He said, ‘Hamas has the right to express its opinion as the representative of the Palestinian resistance. And this in a way that serves the interests of the Palestinian people.
