Desk Report A wild elephant died in an electric trap in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar. On Wednesday, locals saw the elephant lying dead next to a paddy field in the Dochhari area of the upazila and informed the Forest Department. Later, Forest Department staff reached the spot and rescued the elephant. On Thursday, Ukhia Range Officer of the Forest Department Abdul Mannan confirmed the authenticity of this information.
