Desk Report: Mirza Abbas, 29 others acquitted in sabotage case The case filed against BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas and Vice Chairman Barkatullah Bulu, including 29 others, on charges of sabotage at the capital’s Ramna Police Station a decade ago has been withdrawn. Dhaka’s Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Wahiduzzaman ordered the withdrawal of the case on Monday (September 15) following the state’s application.
