From now on, May 14 will be observed as a black day at Jagannath University, said the General Secretary of the Teachers’ Association, Dr. Md. Raish Uddin. At the same time, he also asked to refrain from arresting the student who threw a bottle at the advisor.
This was announced on behalf of the protesting students at midnight on Thursday (May 15). Dr. Md. Raish Uddin said, “The student cannot be arrested until the police attack is judged.”
Stating that the government has not yet given a green signal, the general secretary of the JOB Teachers’ Association said, “Since they do not feel the need to listen to us, you, the media, are our resource. Our demands will be met, or we will die. We have not received a green signal from the government yet.”
. Md. Raish Uddin also said, ‘We will leave the place if there is a clear statement from the government. Our ongoing program will continue. Teachers and students will spend the night here. On Friday, there will be a gathering of former and current Zabians at 10 am. After Juma, we will sit on a mass hunger strike.
