Rishad wants to learn something new from the Big Bash

Desk Report:

Rishad Hossain is looking forward to making his Big Bash League (BBL) debut for Hobart Hurricanes. The young legspinner is looking forward to learning something new from Australia’s popular franchise tournament.

Hobart had picked Rishad from the players’ draft of the last season of the Big Bash. But due to the busy schedule of the national team and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the cricketer could not go to play in the country across the Tasman. The new season of the Big Bash will start on December 14. This time too, Hobart has taken Rishad into the squad. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has already given Rishad a no-objection certificate to play in the tournament. So there is no obstacle in front of him to play in the Big Bash this time.

Rishad said, “As a legspinner, my job is to take wickets after the power play is over. I will try to do this job for Hobart as well. My experience will increase further by playing in different leagues around the world. I can improve my bowling by playing with great cricketers.

Rishadh is looking forward to playing in Australia’s great venues, “I asked myself what can be done to improve. If I can play in a big tournament like the Big Bash, I will have the opportunity to play in different fields. So I will be able to learn a lot. Playing in several fields in Australia is like a dream for me.”

Ricky Ponting is in charge of Hobart’s head of strategy in the Big Bash. Hobart has included Rishad in the team on the advice of this legendary Australian cricketer. Ponting is one of Rishad’s favorite cricketers. Therefore, this Bangladeshi bowler is looking forward to playing under the World Cup-winning captain.

Rishad said, “Ponting was one of my favorite players as a child. I have seen him play. I am looking forward to working with someone like him. I am looking forward to playing under Ponting’s coaching.”
