One of the most talked about couples in South Indian cinema, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, have finally taken their long-standing love affair to a new level. According to multiple media sources, the two stars have officially got engaged.
According to an NDTV report, the engagement took place at a family function on Friday (October 3) in the presence of close family members and a few close friends. Although the actors and actresses have not made any official announcement about their engagement or marriage yet.
It is learnt that the much talked about couple is planning to tie the knot in February 2026.
Fans were already excited about the milestone in Rashmika and Vijay’s relationship. Recently, Rashmika further fueled the speculation with a social media post. Rashmika shared a picture of herself wearing a traditional dress and a tilak on her forehead on the day of Dussehra.
She captioned the picture, ‘Happy Dussehra my dear…I am especially grateful this year. Because, the love you are showing for the “Tamma” trailer and our songs…your messages, your excitement, your continuous support make my every moment bigger and happier. The film’s promotions are coming soon; I can’t wait to meet you.”
Rashmika Mandanna will next be seen in director Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy film ‘Tamma’. She is opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal and many others in important roles. The film is set to release on October 21.
On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Gautam Tinnanuri’s Telugu spy action-thriller ‘Kingdom’ (2025).
