Plane’s wheel falls off after takeoff from Cox’s Bazar

A wheel of a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka fell off after taking off. The plane landed safely in Dhaka in that condition.

It has been learned that there were 69 passengers on Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ flight BG 436 from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ Public Relations Department General Manager ABM Rowshan Kabir told Ajker newspaper at around 2:30 pm that the plane had just landed in Dhaka. All preparations were made to land on the runway without a wheel. The passengers and the plane are safe.

Earlier, Biman’s flight safety department said it was possible to land an aircraft without one of the rear wheels. In this case, the pilot’s skill is important.
