Indian media trying to destroy religious harmony with AI tools: Sarjis

Desk Report:

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the Jatiya Nagrik Party (NCP) for the northern region, has said that some Indian media are trying to destroy religious harmony by using AI tools. He made these comments while visiting the Hudupara Durga Temple in Sadar Upazila of Panchagarh on Tuesday.

Sarjis Alam said, “Some Indian media are using AI tools to distort the image of the idol and spread false information, as if there is no religious harmony in the country. However, in reality, we have seen that the presence of law enforcement forces at the puja mandap is sufficient and the environment is peaceful.”

Sarjis Alam also said, “The bond of religious harmony in our society is still unbreakable. Eating in the same hotel, traveling in the same vehicle, inviting each other to festivals—all these prove how strong our religious coexistence is.”

Sarjis Alam said, “We have not only brought gifts, we are also documenting the situation around the temple and crematorium. In the past and after the coup, it has been seen that attempts have been made to seize the land and religious properties of the followers of traditional religions using fake documents. Therefore, we will demand the formation of a commission from the government to ensure the security of these lands and religious places. Even after the incident of vandalism of idols in the past, the real criminals have not been visibly punished. This has given the conspirators an opportunity to destroy religious harmony. We want the maximum punishment to be ensured if such incidents happen in the future.’

Regarding the elections, the NCP leader said, ‘If the interim government thinks of holding elections in February, the NCP will not have any objection. However, we want to see a visible trial. We want to see the legal basis of the July Charter. Through which our fundamental reforms will be implemented.’
