Bangladesh also lost in the last match of the Asian Cup Futsal qualifiers. They lost 8-2 to the United Arab Emirates. Vice-captain Intishar Mustafa Chowdhury scored two goals for Bangladesh in Kuantan, Malaysia.

Although the game was tied 1-1 in the first 20 minutes, Bangladesh could not stop the United Arab Emirates later. After conceding a goal in the 11th minute, Intishar brought Bangladesh back to level. He scored the second goal in the 23rd minute.
Earlier, Bangladesh lost 12-0 to 13-time champion Iran in the first match. They lost to host Malaysia in the next match by 8-1.
