Temperatures will drop further, says Meteorological Department regarding rain

Desk Report:

Like the last few days, today, Tuesday, most parts of the country may experience heavy to very heavy rain. This heavy rain may occur as the monsoon is active in the last part of the monsoon season.

The Meteorological Department’s forecast for the next five days says that the extension of the axis of the monsoon extends from Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and the northern part of Bangladesh to Assam. The monsoon is active over Bangladesh and is in a moderate to strong condition in the north Bay of Bengal. Due to this, light to moderate rain accompanied by gusty winds may occur in most places of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions today, like the last few days. Along with this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms. However, heavy to very heavy rain may occur in some places.

The day and night temperatures may decrease slightly due to the effect of the rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature has been relatively low across the country due to the continuous rain for several days. The rain in the northern and coastal regions has been more than in the central region. Due to this, the temperature in the central region of the country was slightly higher. Yesterday, Monday, the maximum temperature in most parts of the country was below 33 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in the country that day was 33 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj. The highest rainfall was 79 millimeters in Chittagong district. Yesterday’s temperature in the capital Dhaka was 32.5 degrees, the amount of rainfall was 10 millimeters.
