Dr. Yunus meets with International Mathematics and Biology Olympiad medalists
Six students from the country who won medals in the International Mathematics and Biology Olympiads met with Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
They met at Jamuna, the official residence of the Chief Advisor, this Monday (September 8) afternoon.
The six students who won medals in the Olympiad are South Point School and College student Ariz Anas, who won bronze medals in the 36th International Biology Olympiad 2025, Notre Dame College student Ha-Mim Rahman, and Mastermind English Medium School student Farabid Bin Faisal, and Chittagong Baklia Government College student Jitendra Barua, Ideal School and College student Jawad Hameem Chowdhury, and Mymensingh Zilla School student Tahsin Khan, all of whom won bronze medals in the International Olympiad.
Present at the event were Education Advisor C. R. Abrar, Primary and Mass Education Advisor Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar, President of the Bangladesh Mathematics Olympiad Committee, Distinguished Professor of BRAC University Mohammad Kaikobad, and General Secretary of the Committee A. A. Munir Hasan.
Also present were the President of the Bangladesh Biology Olympiad Committee, Dhaka University Supernumerary Professor Dr. Rakhhari Sarkar, and the General Secretary of the Committee, BUET Professor Dr. Muhammad Tarikh Arafat.
