Sarjis thanks government for initiative, says school managing committee chairman must be a graduate

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the National Citizens Party (NCP) for the northern region, has thanked the interim government for issuing a notification stating that one must have an honors certificate as an educational qualification to become the president of a school’s managing committee.

He expressed his gratitude in a post on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon.

In the post, Sarjis Alam said, “A notification has been issued stating that if you want to become the president of the school’s managing committee, you must have an honors certificate as an educational qualification. Thank you to the interim government for this initiative. Through this, educational institutions can be protected to some extent from the hands of incompetent, scheming, and businessmen called politicians.”
