BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended his greetings to the followers of traditional religions of the country on the occasion of Sharad Durga Puja and Vijaya Dashami. In a message sent to the media on Wednesday, he said, ‘My appeal to the Hindu community, you should celebrate the festival and joy across the country with enthusiasm and security. Spread the message of harmony and harmony. I and my party BNP believe that religion belongs to everyone, the state belongs to everyone. Religion belongs to everyone, everyone has the right to security.’

In the message, Tarique Rahman said, ‘For a long time, people of different religions of the country, every group, tribe and community, have been practicing their respective religions with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm, this is the beauty of traditional religious social values ​​and culture in Bangladesh. As a Bangladeshi, I think that the mutual friendship, harmony, cordiality and brotherhood between our different religions, tribes and communities blooms through the festival. Our state and constitution guarantee the security of every person, regardless of party, religion, caste, belief or non-belief. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the state to provide security to every citizen of Bangladesh.

Tarique Rahman further said that in a fascism-free Bangladesh, as a citizen of the country, he will play a proper role in protecting the security and honor of other citizens and will fulfill his moral responsibility, this is the natural norm. It is right to struggle against those who want to destroy society and human civilization and establish misrule through oppression and revenge.

Meanwhile, the acting chairman of BNP also called on the law enforcement agencies to be vigilant on the occasion of Durga Puja. He said, ‘I call on the law enforcement agencies of the country to be alert and vigilant so that no one can create any situation like the fascist regime around the autumn festival to destroy communal harmony or disrupt security.’
