Tarique Rahman visits Nur, who is undergoing treatment in Singapore

Desk Report:

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has inquired about the health of Public Rights Council President Nurul Haque Nur, who is undergoing treatment in Singapore. He called Nur at 6:45 pm Bangladesh time today (Monday, September 29) to inquire about his health.

The party’s General Secretary Md. Rashed Khan confirmed this information by posting on his Facebook account.

BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed this information to the media.

Rashed Khan wrote in the post, ‘BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman has inquired about the health of Nurul Haque Nur. Today at 6.45 Bangladesh time, BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman called Public Rights Council President Mr. Nurul Haque Nur to inquire about his health.’

The post further said, ‘BNP Honorable Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman called former DUCSU VP and active President of Public Rights Council Nurul Haque Nur, who is undergoing treatment in Singapore. At that time, he wanted to know about Nurul Haque Nur’s health and treatment. At the end of the conversation, he wished Nurul Haque Nur a complete recovery.’

It is worth noting that on the evening of August 29, leaders and activists of the two parties clashed while a procession of the Public Rights Council was passing in front of the Jatiya Party’s central office in Kakrail in the capital. After that, army and police members beat the leaders and activists of the party with sticks in front of the Public Rights Council office. Nurul Haque was seriously injured in this. The stick hit his head and broke his nose.

Nurul Haque Nur had been receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital since that day. He was discharged from the hospital on September 15. Later, on the advice of the doctor, Nur went to Singapore on September 22 for better treatment.
