Desk Report:
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has urged party leaders and workers to be cautious about their allies, saying that ‘BNP has no alliance’ with them. He said that Awami League and its allies are taking advantage of impunity at home and abroad. The conspiracy, blueprint and master plan are not over yet. Everyone must keep an eye on those who were with and are cooperating with Awami League so that they do not change sides.
Rizvi said these things to journalists after paying homage at the tomb of party founder Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital on Wednesday.
He went to the tomb premises with the newly elected Pirojpur district BNP leaders on this day.
At this time, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General called on leaders and workers to remain united and said that the party should be consolidated through the grassroots in such a way that the people vote for the paddy.
Referring to the incident of egg-throwing on National Citizens Party (NCP) leader Akhtar Hossain in New York, Rizvi said that if the corruption and misdeeds of the Awami League were investigated and the interim government showed firmness, the fascist accomplices in New York would not have dared to commit such acts.
Also present at the event were BNP Vice Chairman Nurul Islam Moni, Pirojpur District BNP Convener Nazrul Islam Khan, Member Secretary Saidul Islam Kismat, Joint Convener Elijah Zaman, and others.
