Desk Report:
Rishad cleared to play in Big Bash League
Bangladesh national cricket team legspinner Rishad Hossain wanted to leave the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and play in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL). For this, he had applied for an NOC from the BCB. The BCB has allowed him to play in the BBL for the entire season, a BCB source has confirmed.
Rishad was picked by the Hobart Hurricanes from the BBL draft last season. But due to the national team’s West Indies tour and BPL commitments, he could not play for the franchise. This time, the champion team has once again put its trust in this young legspinner.

However, the problem was the schedule. Since the BBL and BPL were held at the same time, there was uncertainty about whether Rishad would be able to play the entire season. Finally, that fog cleared. BCB sources said that Rishad has been given an NOC for the entire season. Playing in the Big Bash will be more helpful for his career development than the BPL. So we allowed him to participate.
